All my Rubs and Seasonings are created from scratch and are made with a custom blend of herbs and spices, according to the meats for which they’re designed. Although I recommend these pairings, feel free to be as creative as you want to be!

My Chicken Rub and Seasoning is one of the most versatile rubs that I make.  In addition to chicken, this rub is perfect for turkey, pork, fish, sauces, eggs and also makes some of the best garlic bread you’ve ever had.  Lightly season chicken or your choice of meat for great flavor with any cooking method. Your friends and family will be amazed by how flavorful it is.

*******

Beef

My Beef Rub can be used on beef & lamb and adds a savory flavor to anything that needs that extra boost; steaks, tri-tip, and prime rib, just to mention a few.  Believe it or not it is wonderful on popcorn!

*******

7-Pepper

The 7-Pepper Rub is my newest addition and adds a slightly spicy, but very flavorful kick to almost any dish. Because of the intense flavor of the 7 different types of pepper, this rub contains 1/3 less salt than the others, so this is a great choice if you are trying to cut back on sodium.

*******

Smoky

My Smoky Rub is great for those that don’t have a smoker but want that unique smoky flavor. This rub is so good that you can practically eat it with a spoon. Great with pork and beef, or try adding it to your favorite Alfredo sauce!

*******

Bacon

My Bacon Rub is an amazing thing! Simply sprinkle on burgers to add the flavor of bacon without the extra fat, or over french fries, or salads, or a turkey sandwich, or hash browns, or… wait…everything tastes better with bacon!

*******

My Ribs and Butt Rub is perfect for any meat that you plan on slow cooking. I use it on the pork ribs and butts that I throw in the smoker and it gives it that classic full bodied flavor with a touch of sweetness.

Doug: Just for grins I performed a blind taste test at a family dinner of 8. I cooked 3 large untrimmed Tri Tip and 3 full racks of baby back ribs on my Santa Maria style BBQ. I used Doug’s Beef Rub on 1 tri tip and 1 baby back. I used 2 other popular Santa Maria dry rubs on each of the remaining pieces of meat. Over 90% preferred Doug’s Rub. It is now our favorite. We have orderded your gift packs for Christmas Gifts.
